Steer clear. Limited options, didn't provide clear guidelines or application process and used gotcha tactics for not approving. They will not tell you upfront and only grant loans based on their feelings. Find another SBA lender that actually bases their loans on a legitimate business plan.
Women Ventures offers highly relevant and supportive courses for women-identifying entrepreneurs. I would recommend it hands down. I was encouraged to do this from a friend and will pass on the word in my own circles.
Applied for a $50k microloan back in April. After 4 months and many follow-ups, I still don’t have a clear decision or written notice. Love the mission, but the communication and timeline were disappointing. Multiple potential regulatory violations. Will be filing complaints.
