Had a great experience with Flores delivering my 3rd baby, but went to Tori 3mo post partum for what I thought was post partum depression and she was extremely mean, rude and what felt like unprofessional. Yelled at me to the point of making me cry, didn’t apologize and was pretty much mad that I went to her after trying other doctors when this is the first time I’ve dealt with post partum depression and didn’t know what I was supposed to do. Dr. Flores and his staff, including his nurse practitioner Tori, are truly some of the best in Southwest Kansas. I’ve delivered all of my children with their care, and they have always been so compassionate, caring, and quick to answer any questions. I especially appreciated that Dr. Flores personally took the time to sit in my delivery room, waiting patiently for me to deliver, he has always been attentive and kind. I had a very negative experience with this OB-GYN. During my labor, the doctor compared me to another woman, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. He gave me Pitocin twice without informing me or explaining how much stronger and more painful the contractions would become. When I experienced heaviness in my chest, he ignored my symptoms instead of addressing them. Dr. Flores and his staff are the absolute best. I had my first child in 2012 and had very little OBGYN care prior to that pregnancy. He made me feel comfortable and well-informed at each visit and always took the time to answer all my questions fully. Rude staff over the phone! Asked if I could be seen sooner and they told me that they were over booked. I was hoping to be seen soon due to wanting to see Dr. Flores to see if my pregnancy is going okay since I’m a patient there. ER sent me home but I was still worried about my pregnancy since i had couple of miscarriages before. They just said “SORRY ABOUT THAT” and she hanged up on me without me finishing talking.
