Im a bit dissapointed this morning. I had a 845 telehealth, I have been waiting online for 20 minutes, only to get a call to start checking me in and there is still one appointment ahead of me. Im sorry, my time is important too and if you are already backed up for the day, I can imagine how the rest will go. I had them reschedule, maybe it will help them get there day back in order.
I have been a patient with the primary physician care at this group for over a decade. Until now I had no issues and throughly enjoyed the ease in which I could see my care team across all specialty’s in one location. With the transition to Brown I’ve run into nothing but issues. It’s been almost 6-months and they have not reassigned a pcp. I’m sent in a loop to leave a voicemail with no call back. Dr. Odom is, by far, the best PCP I have ever had. I have a complex medical history, and Dr. Odom always gives me the best care. She listens, explains conditions well, is very kind and compassionate, and always gives me as much time as I need in my appointments. I am also always given prompt appointments if I am sick, have detailed and thorough exams, is punctual, and provides both telehealth and in person visits. Once again, problems getting through. Today the computers were down, but I was told that they could call my prescription in. Waited over two hours. Finally called back just prior to closing after getting hung up on (after being on hold for 20 minutes). I was told that not only are the computers still down but now the phones are down as well and that they will try to get to it tomorrow. No apologies- just a frustrated employee answering the phone. It seems to be a very full practice. They seem to be busy most days. They have a clean waiting room with water for you and the temperature is always nice in here. The building itself is a maze and hard to figure out without staring at the signs the whole time. The comments say they reschedule a lot. They have rescheduled me before but were fine when I had to switch my date also before so I think that’s fine. Things happen. I’d be more mad if they gave me a sick doctor to touch me lol.
