I was billed for a SECOND mammogram although they couldn't give a diagnosis without getting two additional images. Rather than include it as one study, I was billed for a second mammogram. My insurance company won't cover it because of the way it was coded and the person in coding was incredibly UNHELPFUL to the point of belligerence. The women in the office are lovely and I have been a patient for years, but I will be finding a new center after this runaround!!!
I was so scared when I walked in to the women’s imaging center this morning. I had a lump and I have no idea what would happen. From the front desk girl to the woman that took my mammography pictures to the woman that did my ultrasound and the doctor that walked in at the very end were all so amazing. Thank God the news I received was good news but I will be back to that center every year for my mammography. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kindness today ❤️
