I didn't have the experience of many of the previous reviewers. When my daughter was here for a few days, the facility was clean, and most of the employees were pleasant and friendly (with the exception of one front desk employee who never seemed to want to be there and was downright surly). My daughter called me often and I was allowed to call her whenever I liked. My daughter (19) was in the ER for depression/anxiety/panic attacks. Because she had behavioral issues as well they decided that she should go to The Meadows. I had read through their website online and it looked pretty impressive so was feeling relieved that she was so fortunate to get into this facility. Easing my mind even more, the Crisis Intervention personnel assured me that it was indeed an excellent facility located in the country on a beautiful 52 acre property with very nice buildings and delicious food. run run run stay as far as you can. will lock you up and wont let you out. try to contact a patient forget it they are worse than pathetic.. id give a negative star if i could spent over 6 hours on phone trying to contact my grandchild phone rings and rings wont leave her out crying to get out STAY FAR AWAY

I was in Brooke Glen Hospital for a week. Very nice kind caring staff and doctors.
