I had a very disappointing experience at Women’s Health Specialists on Humphreys Blvd. I called to schedule an appointment after finding out I am newly pregnant and high risk due to a previous loss. I was previously instructed by my doctor to call immediately once I became pregnant again. Instead of receiving support, I was treated very unprofessionally by a manager who was rude, raised her voice, and was dismissive of my concerns. My review is specifically for the lady at the front desk not the doctors) Lady that answered my call today (3/18/26) at 3:06 pm was RUDE! She answered the phone with attitude and then I told her I was running a little behind would that be ok and she said “well we give a 15 minute grace period” so I told her I would be there 10 minutes after my appointment time (so within the 15 min grace period) then proceeds to tell me “you’ll just have to reschedule, your dr will be gone by then”. I have been a patient of Dr. Halford at Women’s Health Specialists since September 2025. This is my first pregnancy, and my husband attends my appointments with me for support and comfort. While Dr. Halford is new in her field and knowledgeable, I ultimately did not feel comfortable continuing my care there anymore. From my very first visit, I felt rushed. Dr. M. Summitt has been my doctor for many years and it’s been quite a while since I last saw her. I called a week ago to schedule an appointment and was told that Dr. Summitt no longer takes new Medicare patients but they would check with her to see if she would see me and get back with me.
