Dr. Torrado performed a vaginal ultrasound on me. It was extremely painful. He did not say what he was doing or why and did not acknowledge my pain. When it was over, and I spoke with the midwife, my body had a trauma response and shook, and I cried and insisted that he never be in charge of my care moving forward. This was in 2018 and I regret taking so much time to say something, but I’m saying something now to hopefully prevent further harm.
Very difficult to get appts. I don't know what Dr. Berlin actually does here as she just shuffled me off to an NP. NP was clueless what to do about my chronic pelvic pain except to suggest addictive pain drugs. Went to UHS gyn in Vestal and the doctor found my vaginal glands were badly inflamed and infected and that was causing everything else to spasm and become inflamed also. I've suffered needlessly for years because no one knew how or bothered to check them! It's taken 3 months of antibiotics and cortisone creams but the... read more

Super friendly staff, doctor and nurses. Very quick replies for any questions I asked/sent by email. It was worth waiting for the first meeting!
