WORST doctor EVER! I went to her with my first baby she was not interested in anything I had to say. I went over 2 weeks with my daughter she scheduled me to be induced after she came back from her 4th of July vaca. My daughter was due 07/02 I had to wait till 07/12 to have her. Never did she make me feel at ease for being my first child, and come to find out when I got had my 2nd and last child I went with another doc his staff told me that she did not like serving plus size moms I was only 185. Dr. Gurwitz has the worst manners. She's rude, impatient and demeaning. Left feeling like we were an inconvenience. I was so angry afterwards and still so after these 2 years. After reading the other bad reviews here about her I couldnt help but share my feelings. In fact just select another obgyn system or practice.
Dr. Gurwitz has been my gynecologist for several years. She has given me good medical advice. I trust her and need to see her now again.
Dr Gurwitz was the first gynecologist I went to for birth control. Not only did she have horrible bedside manner, she did not advocate or educate which birth control was the best for me or provided information for the different types. She also refused to give me the IUD and said it’s only for those who have had children. Which is BS. Because uh hello my body my choice!! She/nobody should be regulating that.
