I usually go to the Women’s Healthcare office in Fairfield, but today I had a follow-up appointment and was seen at this location. The receptionists on the first floor were polite, helpful, and welcoming. However, the receptionist on the second floor (the one who wears pink glasses) was extremely rude, impatient and not welcoming at all, she should learn how to work with public. Zero Stars. I came in for my 6-week postpartum check-up with my newborn baby, and the treatment I received from the front desk staff was absolutely unacceptable. I arrived 6 minutes after my appointment time, which is still well within the office’s 9-minute grace period. I checked in with the first receptionist (who was not the issue), and after she stepped away for about 4 minutes, Haira/Jahaira (not sure of the spelling) took over and told me to have a seat. The thin, short, older woman working check-in on the first floor was incredibly rude. She is the one who consistently insisting patients to come in 15 minutes early. I witnessed her speak disrespectfully to a patient, telling her to “speak English because we are in America.” I’ve always appreciated this clinic but this incident showed a clear lack of compassion and professionalism. Doctor Kelly is an excellent doctor
I had my first-ever appointment, which I explained to the nurse and Dr. Maris Huffman. They saw how nervous I was and reassured me every step of the way. This appointment was amazing. Dr.Huffman heard my concerns and silly questions and answered them nicely, was super respectful while checking me, and explained the steps before and during the appointment. I 100% recommend her; she will make your experience very peaceful and comfortable.
