This office is the reason I struggle to see an OBGYN years after visiting here. This was my first experience with an OBGYN. My mother brought me here, concerned about my going to a boarding school and wanted me on BC. It was not my choice. The (female) Dr. had me go into the exam by myself, and mocked me for being there for BC saying “if your mother can’t trust you not to have [relations, sic]”, then I “couldn’t be trusted to take a pill every day” at school. Dr Miller is amazing! I saw her for half of my prenatal appointments and her bedside manner is something I wish all drs had. She was straightforward, but super kind, and when I called the office to describe my symptoms (preterm labor/water breaking), she hyped me up and made me feel a little more at ease about going to the hospital. She didn’t deliver my baby but I’m sure if she did the experience would’ve been great. Love all the staff at WHA!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I ended up in Dr Miller’s care at Danbury hospital after delivering in 2021. She was not my OB during pregnancy. Three days after my non-surgical delivery, I was withheld from discharge in the postpartum unit. My husband and I asked to continue check-ins by phone so we could all get home. She responded by telling my husband that I could have a life threatening complication if I wasn’t monitored closely and end up with a dead wife and a newborn to take care of all by himself. It’s been 12 years or more that I’ve seen in this practice unfortunately they hired a very rude secretary she’s rude don’t have education at all to speak with patients, practice it’s not the same they cancel your appointment the day before and reschedule for a month away .
