I requested routine blood work and was met with unnecessary resistance and repeated back-and-forth instead of straightforward care. There was no clear explanation for why these standard labs could not be ordered. As a woman trying to conceive, I expected at least a basic level of understanding and support. My overall care from them was ok I got better care from the nurses than the dr. I had one dr come in and told me my blood pressure was a little high and that I needed to take an aspirin which if he looked at my chart Im allergic to aspirin. My biggest problem was them trying to charge me 800 before I gave birth saying my insurance only paying for 85% which was completely wrong my insurance covered 100% of my care and my insurance even said nobody had reached out to them about any pre delivery bill and told me to ignore them ... read more

The ultrasound technicians, nurses, and everyone in the office save the manager were great. I was unfortunately referred to the second doctor I should have seen, causing confusion, but that was not on their side. I had an appointment on a Monday at 8am. I tried calling 3 days straight to reschedule. Thursday, Friday, AND Monday, which then failed to reach anyone and I could not cancel through mychart. My experience with Lexington Women's Care OB/GYN & MFA is deeply mixed — and at its worst, bordered on medical negligence. I'll start with the good, because it deserves to be said: Drs. Mather, Adams, and Skinner are genuinely excellent physicians. They listened, communicated clearly, and treated their patients with real compassion and bedside manner. I am so thankful for Dr. Skinner. She truly cares about her patients. I have never received such amazing care in over 20 years! The staff is friendly and efficient. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Thank you so much for being wonderful.
