I came for an initial consult to address menopausal symptoms many of which include: irritability, sleeplessness, brain fog, weight gain and depression. Tamara was short with me, condescending and didn’t allow for any space to discuss treatment options. When I expressed what my experience was she in a nut shell said “then you can return to previous GYN”. It was 4:45 pm - I felt rushed out the door. Dr. Chakraborty and Dr. English are amazing. Compared to the previous GYN I used to see, Dr. C and E are so caring. They make me feel so comfortable and ask loads of questions. I appreciate how they take their time when I’m there.
I’m writing to express how deeply hurt, disrespected, and disappointed I am after a call with your nurse, TAMARA ENGLISH. I’ve been a loyal patient with your practice for over 15 years, and I’ve never experienced anything as unprofessional or insensitive as what happened. While delivering difficult medical news, the nurse said to me, “It’s not like I told you that you have cancer.” That statement was incredibly inappropriate, and even more painful considering my grandfather passed away from cancer just a month ago.
