I love my doctor. I just wish they would get in touch with me the day I call them.
My doctor of 22 years can no longer see me because she only sees pregnant patients now. That would have been fine if the PA who is now assigned to me had the sense of urgency about my health. I was being urgently asked to go back to UCLA for diagnostic ultrasound for solid masses found in my breasts, and the PA kept saying that I just need to go back for a 6 month follow up and that she did not need to write an order for it. My most recent experience with this office was due to a callback from a mammogram. After the first call back, I tried to call and talk to my doctor or a PA, but never heard back even after several tries. Finally, one of the office assistance just told me the order was sent in. But none of my questions were answered. I went ahead for the second mammogram and ultrasound to death that I could possibly have breast cancer.
