I began a workshop with her about patriarchy at the end of October just one month and I truly wished to continue, but the Spanish-language service will no longer be available. Maybe this place is great for helping people. But wow they treat volunteers horrible. Went there for a first time to assist them and stood in the sun for 45 mins. The bosses ignored me and were so detached. When you ask someone to show up, they make time in their day and use their gas. Never again! Volunteers are doing you a favour not the other way around.
Thank you for the awesome work that you all do there. I recently moved into the area and have heard nothing but great things about the woman’s habitat. Amazing people.
These hardworking angels took me in battered, blood-covered, semi-conscious and brought me back to health. No judgment and no attitudes. They found my family so I could rejoin them and they helped me get the legal/police assistance I needed. We had fun Theme Days as well as social outings too.
