Dr. Alvarado butchered my daughter in law. She removed a birth control bar from her arm. One shot of Lidocaine and started cutting. She was not numb at all until after she was finished. She felt every slice of the scalpel even though she pleaded with her to stop. She then steri-stripped it, put gauze over it that bled through almost immediately. She then placed six 7 inch long long strips in a wagon wheel arrangement across the bloody gauze. I will be reporting her to the medical board. I can only wish you could see a photog... read more

Not happy. I was not pleased at ALL with this clinic. I just moved to Jacksonville & have been looking for a new gynecologist. I found this clinic online, it was the only one with a review, I figured I'd give it a try. The only positive thing was the staff, they were very friendly. I went in for a normal pap, but also had complaints of a possible yeast infection. Dr. Alvarado examined me for MAYBE 30 seconds, left the room, and told me to meet her in a consult room. Women's Clinic Outstanding clinic! I choose them to help me through my third pregnancy. A little small, but that is what I like about it. Makes you feel like they know you & aren't trying to rush you out the door going on to the next patient. They take the time to answer any and all questions. This place is very clean and well kept! All of the ladies working there are very nice & pleasant! Just a lovely place! It added to the experience of being pregnant again. :-)
