I am deeply disappointed by my experience with this center. I came here seeking support for trauma, but the staff openly refused to believe me. They made me feel completely unwelcome and denied me the critical help I needed.A women’s center should be a safe space for people in crisis. Instead, the staff handled my situation with a total lack of empathy and care. If you are looking for a safe, trauma-informed environment, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The women’s center helped me in so many ways that I didn’t even know I needed it. The advocate that helped me at the program her name was Heather and she was God sent. And this was back in 22. I’m still grateful.
