I called to get a mammogram back in May. The woman on the phone told me I needed orders from my doctor, which is incorrect. Annual mammogram screenings don’t need doctors orders. I called a different place to have it done and all they asked was for my doctor’s name to send the results to. Also, in 2022, when I had to have a needle shoved into my breast, they told me I could go back to work after. I was in so much pain at work I had so put an ice pack down my shirt. I went to the Women’s Center for Wellness today for my annual mammogram. The receptionist was especially helpful and friendly. That is where the good part ends. When I went in for my mammogram, I had a terrible experience and feel it important to let you know so that other patients do not encounter the same situation. I certainly do not want to go through it again. I recently had a massage at the Women's Center for Wellness. Marie at the front desk was efficient and very friendly! Milli was my massage therapist. She was awesome! She made sure I was comfortable with amount of pressure being used. It was amazing how she could hone right into areas that needed work with out my telling her. I highly recommend the Women's Center for Wllness for massage.
The Women’s Center receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Before I was able to complete the paperwork, Kathy called me in. She was very kind and efficient. From the time I arrived till the time I left was less than half hour. I would recommend the center for anyone looking for imaging services.
I noticed a few negative reviews…and I disagree! I have used this facility twice this year for mammagrams. It’s The professionalism, compassion and genuine concern were outstanding. The professional personnel were also good educators. I’m an APRN and know well how to assess medical standards. The facility and people were A+. I’m setting up appointments for massages now. Total care!
