I went in and asked multiple times if my insurance covered the appt I showed them the card of the insurance I have and they said yes multiple times even the doctor herself said she “checked” because supposedly my vaccine was covered by them too. However my insurance was not covered by them and then when I called they came up with “the system showed us that it was but since you have ___ plan it actually doesn’t” when the insurance card said what type i had and i asked the receptionist multiple times. Front desk and Dr. Mabry are awesome.
I really liked the doctor I saw, and had a really good experience with her, which is why I am giving 4 stars and will continue to see this doctor; but eliminating a star and writing a review due to the ultrasound tech, Melissa. Sure, she could be a good tech, but she was not personable, was really cold towards me, and spoke only a few words. Her bedside manner is unacceptable. Hoping there are other techs I can request in the future.
I had excellent results from Dr. Kenneth Finkelstein, the uro-gynecologist at this practice. Previously, I had had a disastrous result from a supposedly top doctor affiliated with the University of Chicago. When the results of the operation she did to prevent incontinence were worse than before the operation, she lied to me about why the results turned out as they did. I wish I could say I had a positive experience here, but unfortunately that is not the case. I chose this practice so that I would be able to deliver at Christ when that time came. I was with child in September 2024, when I met with the nurse practitioner she said she "didn't love the heart rate." Told me to wait a week and to come back, and at that time there was no heart beat so I miscarried, and had a d&c. Fast forward to January 2025, I am pregnant again and was confirmed.
