Honestly, my experience with Dr. Barton has been quite disappointing. I have sent multiple messages requesting my prescriptions, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. I’ve also called several times, only to be told she wasn’t available, or that I needed to follow up again through messages. All of this, just to receive prescriptions she had already told me she would send. The lack of follow-through and communication has been frustrating and leaves a lot to be desired.
I have had HORRIBLE experiences with other GYNs, so I walked in here with little hope and a lot of stress. From the moment I arrived, the staff was kind, professional, and welcoming. I’m Transferring from Women’s care in another part of Florida to this office. I was hesitant based on google reviews. My experience with the office staff to establish at this location was nothing but kind and professional.
This review is strictly for the front desk staff and not the doctors. Unfortunately, the front desk staff can make or break your business and in this case that it was happened. I am completely blown away at how horrible I was treated from day one from the staff. For one this is a very scary new moment in a woman’s like and these women should not be working a front desk if they lose their composure over every single question. This review is not about Dr. Barton’s competence as a physician, but is a reflection on how this practice is operated. I’m writing this review so that other women don’t have to go through what I’ve gone through. Let me get this started by saying I am an ER nurse and my husband is a physician in the area.
