Always a positive experience despite it not always being the most pleasant health topics. I always feel comfortable and respected here.
My naturopath advised that I go here, for screening breast ultrasound and mammogram, because of the all female staff, general atmosphere and specialist breast services. I'm glad that I did. The staff were both kind and professional . The whole experience was positive and nothing hurt. The atmosphere is calm, not clinical and there is a sweet feminine energy. We ladies appreciate that!
I attended Cottesloe WBI for a mammogram and ultrasound on 13th January presenting with lumps and some soreness. Upon leaving I was told the government had changed the rules and mammograms are no longer covered by Medicare. After making my own personal research I discovered that presenting with symptoms should entitle me to a Medicare rebate and had to go back to my GP to change the referral indicating that the symptoms were current not past.
