Although they were VERY responsive before we told them it would be a small job, they never called or emailed back after we let them know we just needed one room, a stairwell, and a landing painted. I love how all these businesses say: " No job too small!" yet don't want the smaller business. Guess what? That also means you won't be hired for bigger jobs, and you certainly won't get any free advertising via word-of-mouth.
Charged me 20% more than their bid. They have men as well as women working for them-this made a difference to me as I was home alone with one of their male employees and this is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Started rudely harassing me for payment the second they were done before I even had a chance to look at the final invoice or thoroughly check their work (Owner called, texted, and had her employee insist twice that I give her a check immediately.
