Great experience with Dr Pam Quatermass. She is a considered, thorough doctor who takes the time to truly listen and look at the full picture: blood work, hormone levels, medications, and deficiencies — rather than viewing results in isolation. After other GPs dismissed my iron levels as normal for years, Dr Quatermass looked more carefully and recognised I actually needed an iron infusion in additionto other medical help. Such a positive experience from the moment I arrived. I was made to feel comfortable and supported, even though I was quite anxious. Thank you for making what felt like a daunting appointment so much easier.
A women’s centre without any female gynaecologists is disappointing. For a service designed for women, this feels like a significant gap. Many women are unable or unwilling to see a male gynaecologist for very valid reasons, and the lack of choice is a real barrier to accessing care. I hope this is something they address in the future.
