I honestly cannot imagine how different my birth would have been without Melissa and Ava there. My husband and I both felt so prepared and empowered by their birth preparation class and even when things did not go to plan, I had absolute trust in Melissa to help me make the best decisions to have my happy, healthy baby. I would totally recommend working with these ladies. Our first pregnancy and it has been such a blessing to have them at our side. They are not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also kind and objective. We took the birthing class and feel so much better prepared and aligned. Some insurances will at least part of this service, so check them out for sure! So worth it!
Great Doula team! Very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, but they do a great job balancing that with what you're comfortable with and empower you to make your own birth plan based on your needs. I feel a lot more prepared and excited going into this season knowing I have additional support from them and have more tools/resources to be informed about me and baby! Highly recommend.
Ava is absolutely amazing. We did private prenatal classes with her, birth support, and postpartum care. While we weren’t able to have the birth that we planned, it was because Ava was with us that we were able to make quick decisions and she advocated for me when I wasn’t able to. She was instrumental in helping me start my breast feeding journey and was always easy to reach with any questions. Can’t recommend Ava and her services enough to all first time parents (and beyond).
I can easily say that I would not have made it through my first birth without Ava. She was absolutely crucial. We met with her a couple times before giving birth to talk about what to expect and solidify a birth plan. We also went through labor positions and pain management techniques (that came in handy when it was game time). I set a goal to have a natural birth and she encouraged me every step of the way to stick to our plan.
