I went for an anatomy scan, which I was told was gonna be billed as a regular ultrasound that my insurance covers. However, the visit was billed in a different way, and I ended up having to pay an expensive bill. So be aware this department of the hospital might not be covered by your insurance. The technician who did the ultrasound was very nice. The doctor not so much. Definitely won't go back.
Long wait time, young doctor automatically jumped to worst case scenario with our baby’s potential defects without clear evidence and unsolicited advice about aborting our baby at 20 wks. Btw- our baby turned out to be perfectly healthy. Go anywhere else
Each MFM I saw during pregnancy was great. They even travel to Lake Charles certain days to save patients from driving to Baton Rouge. I appreciated that a ton since I was able to make it there after work instead of missing work + traveling an extra 3 hrs each appt day. Their staff is amazing at both locations!!!! I was impressed on how quickly they scheduled my fetal MRI & how flexible they were coordinating my appt with them the same day to save me a 6 hr round trip drive.
