My daughter who is a student at LSU was sent to the ER by the student clinic for a severe kidney infection with concerns of hydronephrosis or a blockage. I am an ER nurse and completely understand triaging patients. She was barely assessed, only a UA was run. No bloodwork, no imaging. Was sent home with antibiotics, literally the same thing the clinic did. She did not receive a proper MSE, if she ends up having a blockage or hydronephrosis that ends in AKI there will be a law suite placed.

I am not pleased with the services I recently received at the woman’s assessment center. I walked in in tears complaining of right breast pain, even after having a normal mammogram. This was a colossal waste of time. I spent six hours and $300 for nothing. Just to get labs and an ultrasound of the breast. An MRI would have been the gold standard, but I was refused that. The radiologist even said she was sending a recommendation to the assessment center to have the MRI done and I never heard from anyone. Displeased, felt dism... read more

I went to the assessment, 27 weeks pregnant with concerns about my baby. I usually avoid the assessment center as long as I can due to some negative past experiences. Nurse Kaitlin, the sonographer Sharon or Shannon (I can’t recall) and Dr. Rodriguez WERE ALL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. MD did everything she could to give me the peace of mind I needed. An amazing experience. 10/10.

My experience here was absolutely terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I was told twice I did not need D&C by the assessment center, only to find out by my regular OB that I needed one. Dr Brad Ramsey has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced and completely lacks compassion. When asked questions about where to go from here after my miscarriage he used sarcasm to hide his lack of knowledge. He is a family medicine doctor, not an OBGYN. I asked him if there were tests that could be done to see if this would c... read more
