I'm sad when I think back of my few visits with Ann Isenberg. It would take me a while to get into the domestic abuse I had endured, but she would never come to know any of that. She packaged me up neatly into a box of someone who dwells on the past and sent me away with a book about how to re-think my thoughts without ever having learned of my abuse.
