Woman haven was my first and last time ever being in a shelter. The workers did nothing to help me kept my 300$ worth of food dropped me off at a hotel without telling me they weren’t helping me anymore. There was rats in the house they moved me to it was horrible.
My stay at the Women's Haven Shelter in ElCentro was totally amazing! Each member of he Staff could not have been more kind or caring; attentive and present. Their Shelter has transparency, is giving, fair, low-key, + peaceful. Thankyou Staff and God Bless!🪻🪻🪻

Going back to 2016 & 2017 I don't even know where to start . But I will say I could never forget your names martha cabay , Sonia, Gina etc etc the list of woman that torn me apart during my process during my healing from domestic violence was awful . I have came so far now and I have open my eyes in a lot of things that was against the rules that they did to me I have so much more to say ! One day I will write about it .
I've had a frustrating experience at a thrift store, where an older gray-haired lady working at the register repeatedly has questioned me about the price of the merchandise I was trying to buy. She ended up trying to charge me more than what was shown on the sticker, claiming that the price was incorrect. As customers, we deserve to be treated with respect, and if the tag price is incorrect, the staff should report it to their supervisor instead of charging us more.
