Shopping experience was wonderful, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The alterations, on the other hand, were way over priced and POOR work. Especially since I got my dress back with a HUGE CUT in the train AND no one told me about it when I picked it up (the day before my wedding!). Guess thats what I get for not insiting on trying it on. Also, the bustle fell out within 20 minutes, it was just cheap plastic rings that couldn't hold a hair, much less my beaded gown.
I have been looking for a gown for weeks and have been to several bridal stores. My budget is limited and I am looking for something simple. Other stores kept pulling dresses exactly the opposite of what I asked for. My experience at Wolsfelt's was so different. My consultant actually listened to what I wanted. I was able to find a great dress under my budget in exactly the style I wanted. I am so happy!
I had been hearing about a bridal shop in Aurora from a lot of different people, I was a little concerned about driving out from the city but my friends and co-workers who were familiar with the store assured me that it was worth the trip.... And they were right! The selection of gowns was really great. I purchased my bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses at Wolsfelts. I was able to buy my bridal gown off the rack at a great discount. I always thought I wanted a brand new dress (and they offered to order it for me), but I found one I loved and it was in such good condition that I was happy to spend the money I saved on other wedding stuff. The bridesmaids selection was great too, the consultant helped me make sure that all of my bridesmaids got the right size even though half of them live out of state. My experience at Wolsfelt's was a dream. They showed me many different styles and brought new dresses to try as I narrowed down the style that I liked best. I found my dream dress because my consultant was so helpful. The dress I decided on was not one I would have pulled out on my own but when I put it on I just knew. Everyone that I have dealt with from my consultant to the girls in the office to my seamstress has been so helpful. My wedding is coming up soon and I can't wait to wear my beautiful Wolsfelt's dress.
