I would like to thank Wollongong ED….Dr. Luke Denniss , all nurses ,and orderlies for their care , reassurance and understanding throughout my spinning and concerning cardio/heart condition and diagnosis… Yes, I did have to wait and be very patient,it took hours..ED is very busy ,As each little step from ecg to bloods to ct-scan all took time but it is worth the patience as I am so grateful and relieved to end up with a clear and thorough understanding of my condition ( thanks Dr Luke)and a discharge plan to now work with my... read more
As usual, bloody terrible. My husband got a call from his doctor to go straight to emergency and he would fax his details straight through. After 4 hours we were told that he was having more tests and being admitted so I should go home. He ended up sitting in emergency all night coz there were no beds. So he chose to leave after 19 hours. I myself have been twice. Once I was at the h e doctor and she called an ambulance for me. I sat in emergency for 7+ hours and then left.
