So .... being Transgender i had alot of concerns going in.. being confident in community support or acceptance .. i was at ease when I realised the nurses and everyone there were professional and respectful.. I had put surgery off for 3 years just because I was worried about judgement from others - but also costs. I never thought I would have had such a great experience adding to my confidence in myself & others. Thankyou to everyone in that establishment!! 🦄
The absolute WORST care i have ever been!!!! I have never come across such rude and nasty nurses that don’t care about you and want to throw you out as soon as you wake up from surgery. Zero care for patients whatsoever. Avoid this hospital at all costs.
Hi had 2 procedures done at Wollongong Day Surgery this morning and just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the staff working this morning. From The moment I walked in the door to waking up in recovery then walking out the professionalism and kind friendly staff were outstanding. Thanks again WDS xxx
I had day surgery on a broken wrist bone. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous & that includes the receptionist, checking if I was warm enough in the waiting room & bringing me a warm blanket. As the wait was very long she also provided apple juice or water as of course you have been fasting overnight. The nurses were fabulous & friendly. Everyone was very informative. The anaesthetists were also friendly and caring. The whole surgery team were wonderful. . Thank you.
