I had shoulder surgery with Prof Mark Haber on a Friday morning and was so impressed with not only Prof Haber but all staff working in the day surgery clinic. From the lovely lady at the front desk to the caring nurses who discharged me at the end I did not have one bad experience. I was clearly very anxious going into this surgery and all staff were super accommodating, helpful and were able to answer any questions I had. Had a dental surgery at Wollongong day surgery,from the reception to admission nurse, aesthetic nurse, dr story,great surgeon, recovery staff and discharge nurses, all were professional, caring and friendly, this comes from a retired theatre nurse, would totally recommend
My son had dental surgery here and I would definitely recommend Wollongong day surgery to anyone who needs day procedures done. From the reception staff, admission staff, nurses to porters, everyone was reassuring, helpful and kind. I had very little expectation as far as service goes, at a day facility since they see a high turnover of patients.
