I stayed at this amazing country house and it was the perfect mix of charm and chill. We were greeted by the friendliest dogs and could see the the alpacas and mini horses in the paddock roaming around, which instantly set the tone. There was a peaceful pond with beautiful white geese and a gazebo that made for the ideal spot to unwind. Inside, the fireplace made everything feel extra cozy. Fantastic location. Close to the township of Wollombi, however far enough away that you can completely encapsulate yourself in the tranquil surroundings that the lower Hunter Valley brings. The house is spacious and extremely well maintained, providing a perfect mix of rustic and modern.
