Lyons Vet. Clinic I have two Siberian Huskies and a Black and White Tom Cat that runs the house and I have brought all my pets to Lyons for more than 20 years and the staff has went above and beyond to help me often giving free advice over the phone and working to schedule appointments around my schedule. Adult dog and puppy Dr. Wolfer is the best! He diagnosed and prolonged the life of our beloved dog Brandy. Brandy passed last January and we got a puppy Abby (Golden Retriever) in November. We also have a Miniature American Eskimo Lily. We were afraid to let Abby and Lily get too close because Abby was so aggressive and Lily would growl and nip. excellent care This man and this clinic are excellent!!I always get quality care at a reasonable price.They are understanding and compassionate.Last year when i had to put my baby of 14 years down,they just about cried with me.I got a sympathy card in the mail!!You aren`t a client there,you are family.I wouldn`t take my babies anywhere else!!
Highly recommend! I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. I have three cats and have they have received excellent care over the years. The Lyons Vet Clinic has helped during times of emergencies and during very difficult times of having to say goodbye to a faithful furry friend. The vets are very compassionate to you and your animals needs.
Willing to drive far for this vet We used the Lyons Vet clinic for our 2 cats and 2 dogs for many years between 1996 and 2003. We have not owned a pet since 2003, and have moved an hour farther from Lyons. We just got a cat and I am going to drive the distance to this vet rather than get to know one locally. The best animal care in the greater Rochester region, period. My family & I have been clients for many, many years and many, many animals. I moved to Rochester 8 years ago and work for a clinic in the city, and I happily drive the hour to get there. The doctors are remarkably compassionate & knowledgeable, and the clinic is extremely affordable. There are NO 'sales pitches' here- just an overwhelming interest in providing excellent, reasonable care.
Simply the Best I drive 1/2 hour to go to Lyons Vet Clinic. I have been going there since 1990, and would not go anywhere else. Drs Wolfer, Hamilton, and Coleman are a great team that show their talent every visit. Questions are always thoroughly answered. The staff are friendly and keep the place running smoothly. Compassionate I have taken three of my dogs here and our kitten. Dr Wolfe Is my favorite vet.He really takes the time with the animals and time with us also to see if we have any special concerns.He really wants to know everything about our animals.When one of my dogs had a stroke and was dying, he came into the office on a sunday and never charged us extra for that. Take care of your pets! We take our dog and cat to the Lyons veterinary clinic. It is clean, excellent customer service and reasonable prices. At the front desk they are always pleasant and even take the time to "talk" to our pets. They also send us reminders when our pets are due for a rabies shot or other vaccination. PROS: friendly, clean, efficient CONS: none
