Great experience, as always, at Wolfdale's. Not only was this my birthday but also occurred during a power outage affecting all of North Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and parts of Reno. Despite no electricity, service ran as usual. No stress, go with the flow attitude. Fantastic meal of oysters, hokaido scallops, and lobster fritters. Wolfdale's hasn't been in our regular rotation, but will be again.
Wow! We chose Wolfdale’s for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. All of the food was outstanding. The service from Alejandro was excellent. The tasters were delicious, especially the ahi cones. Even the edamame was notable. It was expensive but for a special night out it was worth it.
Top notch spot, easily stacks up with some of the best meals I have had in SF or NYC but this comes with an excellent view of the lake in an upscale but not stuffy atmosphere. The filet was a touch on the tougher side and could use a dash more of salt but otherwise everything was delicious, will definitely be back!

The poke, 🥟, the stew with 🦞 tail Was tasty, what set the night was the staff right from the front of the house, to the bartender to our maître d’ this place is IT! we are so grateful for the establishment, thank you for wrapping our summer to such a delightful trip 🩷
Party of 9. Seated right on time for our 5 pm reservation. (Opens at 5 pm) Nice atmosphere and service was good. Should have gone with the appetizers for main course because they were better than the main courses that were ordered. Scallops were either way over priced or way to few in number (4 for $48 on a bed of green rice); while the plate was hot my friend's filet and mashed potatoes were warm; short ribs were OK but nothing special (covering with sauce does not always make things taste better).
