Words cannot adequately describe the amazing meal my wife and I just had. We were looking for a grocery store and passed Wolfdale’s. My wife looked it up on her Find Me Gluten Free app which never fails us and it got rave reviews. Our waiter, Bob, immediately knew that my wife had food allergies that she needed to work with. The restaurant made a thoughtful effort to make my reservation feel special, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall service fell short of expectations. There was an issue with my food order, and while mistakes can happen, neither the hostess nor the waiter took ownership of the situation, which was disappointing. We went to Wolfdale’s for dinner while on vacation. The restaurant has a charming, cozy atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious.
Best meal we have had in Lake Tahoe. Super friendly people and beautiful lake view. Will absolutely be back!
I was here just a few days ago as we visit 2-3 times a year. Got off to a rough start as our server was MIA for 10-15 minutes after we arrived.The J1 back server was polite enough but removed some silverware/glassware for no reason and had to be returned to us. But the front server was/is awesome, as they always are, the food was/is incredible, the location is perfect, and we can't wait to return. Support this place and make a reservation weeks in advance. We hope it's around for years to come. It's worth it.
