Nice location. Not very well run. I wouldn’t stay there again. Several problems like one toilet was broke. The freezer and fridge was turned off so I lost some groceries, as it too almost two days ti get to a safe food temp. The place ran out of water service for a day, a friend had to drive a few miles to use the us forest service outhouse by the lake at zero dark thirty to drop a deuce. The Wolf Den is a beautiful spot for an intergenerational vacation with scenery galore. Each window has a beautiful view of the clean, high mountain country. Everything was well organized, basics were well stocked and ready to go when we got there. Appliances worked well and we enjoyed the comfortable hot tub. When we did have an issue with water pressure, the owner was responsive and solved it as soon as possible. The Wolf Den was perfect for a week long getaway with our family! Gretchen was amazing with communication and incredibly helpful anytime there was an issue. The kitchen was well appointed and great to cook in. The views were to die for. Would love to come back and stay again!
