My sister was recently a patient at Willowwood Skilled Nursing at Woldenburg. She spent 20 days there and we were very pleased with the care and rehab that she received. Her room was spacious and very clean and even though she can be picky, she really enjoyed the meals that she was given. The OT and PT were very good and worked with her daily. Any small hiccups we had were addressed and corrected. We would have liked to have her stay on as a patient to get her PT longer, but Medicare starts a co=pay on day 21 and she jus... read more

I am voicing a complaint about Dr Bird and nurse Pentec in your emergency room. She was treated very badly and rudely by these two when she came there to be treated for an infection in a wound that she had in her head. Then the nurse tried to remove some of the Staples when they had only been there for 3 days and now she's bleeding badly and has to go back to the emergency room. I would not give one star, the food is horrible, the room was freezing cold and the case manager on the 9th floor is Donna Barrious is determined to get you discharged before your first day of therapy and throw you into a substandard horror of misery nursing home. The doctor there is Barfoot, she is never returns phone calls and shoves a caterter up your bottom at 3am and gives you a urinary tract infection. I have to start this off by saying that I have given birth 3 times at Touro. Once in 2008; without and issue. Once in 2011; where my midwife had to complain to the staffers about the last patients hazardous waste being left in the room. This never sat right with me so in 2020 when I got pregnant Touro was not my hospital of choice. However even though the Department of Veterans Affairs put forth their greatest effort because of COVID-19; Touro became my only option.
