I hope I don't jinx it but... I was concerned about joining this practice, the amount of negative reviews was astonishing. That has not been my experience. I joined the practice about 3months ago and they have been nothing but prompt and professional. On one occasion I called to be screened for low iron and got a same day appointment. On another occasion, for my 3 year old, they called me to book a f2f appointment within seconds of receiving the NHS 111 report. How are elderly patients expected to access a GP appointment when not tech savvy, deaf and unable to understand 111? Accessibility is not equitable for many patients. How can CQC rate this service as good ?
⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience at this practice recently. After my appointment, the doctor gave me a sample pot and asked me to return it to reception. When I did, the receptionist greeted me with a very rude, “Yes, what do you want?” — not the kind of attitude you'd expect in a healthcare setting. I saw a lovely nurse called Sarah for a blood test. She was friendly and welcoming and made me feel completely at ease.
