Went in for a couple of things in a skin check related to a kidney transplant. Had one frozen off tip of nose and a really annoying mole in the center of my hand removed. Dr Jain is delightful. The gent who did the pre-op and post wound dressing was great also. They were able to do it all with a minimum of fuss on the day and I thought they were brilliant. They saved me another trip to Canberra from Jindabyne.
Paid $320 for a consult with Dr Rubel. She was rude at times, and would interupt and talk at me rather than listen to my skin concerns. I didn't feel any sort of compassion or care (which she states in her bio that she is passionate about providing), and left feeling quite unhappy. She was clearly in a rush, as she raced out of my appointment to see another patient, without telling me how to use the cream she prescribed me, and without professionally concluding my appointment.
I saw woden dermatology for acne twice, woden dermatology throw a script in your face and send you on your way. They significantly played down the risks of Accutane. after 2 years of using Accutane and my acne leaving then coming back I then returned and asked if there were any alternative treatment options I could take. They essentially said their were no other options. If you are looking to treat acne and are looking for holistic care and a dermatologist that truly cares about their patients I would not recommend going to ... read more
Treatment for psoriasis. Very professional. Do not understand all the negative reviews.
I have very fair skin, lots of moles and a lifetime living in the tropics and West Africa so I get my skin checked a lot. Since I retired I have been to two GP dermatology clinics, one dermatologist and Dr Rubel. On the first visit she spotted a suspected melanoma the others (and I) had missed and took a biopsy. The pathologist confirmed it was melanoma and she removed it two days later. The 5 inch scar is now fully healed and invisible. The support staff have been fine in my experience.
Woden Dermatology has a 2.7 star rating with 28 reviews.
Woden Dermatology is open now. It will close at 5:00 p.m.
