I love transmitter park! There’s often times people playing music and it never gets too crowded. It’s great for dogs and people hanging out with a fantastic view of the city. Perfect for July 4th fireworks too

Really nice green space for a picnic, tanning, fishing, or just hanging out by the water. There’s a small path through a more wooded area that is a very small protected bird habitat, and because of that people seem to respect the park as a whole. Litter is usually at a minimum, and the park is mostly wide open space so it feels pretty safe. There’s also a section for children with a sprinkler, but sometimes runners are rinsing off in there.
