Going to the Emergency Room can be a very scary time. Recently our family had one of those times. Dr. Stanley and Nurse Tammy were excellent. They took the time to listen to our concerns and explained everything. Nurse Tammy was able to get the IV with only one try. They usually have to poke my Husband several times. When we need blood work again we will ask for her. Very kind and compassionate.
No one is ever thrilled to need to go to the ER... I was even less so, seeing the reviews. But, like nearly all of the times I've been to Witham, they exceeded my expectations. From check-in to out the door, everyone was friendly and helpful. They listened, answered questions, and offered options to move forward in the best way for me. I really appreciated them making a stressful situation easier. Thank you to the Witham team!
Not never coming back to the ER that in there is just as bad at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis they got in trouble too and this Hospital is going to also I get bruises on my right arm from the blood pressure cuff those will be getting recalled and it is to use for the wrist it's easier and does not hurt. So, Friday night/Saturday morning at about 1am, I took my hubby here cuz of excruciating back/rib pain. There were two women in the admission area. I filled out a paper, and she put a bracelet on his wrist and walked away without saying a word. Then both women were on their computers while we stood there for the next half an hour. It was like we weren't even there! WTH! We finally walked out. I took him to another hospital in another town. Guess what? He has a blood clot in each lung and each knee!
