I have worked at Wishes for the last three years. I can say I am enjoying it immensely. The care from the carers is first class, the care staff give 100% to all the clients, show them a lot of respect, support and compassion, both to the clients and their families. We as care workers take into consideration the needs of what each individual person requires, love learning about the diverse range. Learning means expert care, means more care, which is why the clients receive 100%.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I worked for this company for 5 years. The staff are treated very poorly. No travel time so you're made to cut calls short, the poor clients have their calls at anytime of the day when they have staff. You could be put to bed at teatime call. The carers are not paid on time and not correctly. I wouldn't recommend this care company and feel sorry for the clients.

I worked for this company for 8 years, at first it was a lovely company to work for. I no longer work there as a recruitment officer due to them under paying staff and constantly paying late. I had to deal with carers crying because they haven't been paid. This went on for over a year, eventually Hull City Council took the contract off her. Since February she has no Hull City Council service users, most of her carers have been transferred over to other companies. I would like to say the staff that look after my mum are amazing. They treat her like she is part of their own family. They always go the extra mile and even on her worse days they make her smile. I feel it is a shame that disgruntled people/ ex staff post negative comments . I own the company and I would only have our own staff looking after my own mum and this review is wrote from a daughter receiving care for her mum . X

My experience in just a year. Started off ok wasnt to bad at all. But more into the year i did say to the office i couldnt do mornings at all unless school holidays as that wasnt so bad my mum would be at home with my nieces and nephew. So it wouldnt be to bad as that way she would be in doors at home and i would know there all safe inside and then my mum wouldnt have to take them to school alone.
