Only the Best – When I was a child, my mother worked as a waitress at Wishbone. Often she'd bring me home some of their delicious corn muffins. I've never forgotten the incredible taste of those muffins and they are my ultimate comfort food.
Wishes come true – One of the best ever. Lunch isn't exactly "chopped Liver" either
Great Brunch – A great place for Sunday morning breakfast. One of my favorite restaurants. Great people watching and tasty food at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?
nummy biscuits and gravy – Biscuits tender, sawmill gravy white, salty, nice sausage. Mmmmm. At dinner, the veggie plates are pretty good, too, and the corn muffins rock. Oh yeah, and if you have an aversion to kids, don't spend much time at the Lincoln location. High chairs abound.
wish to eat there more often – a very good experience. there was a wait but it was sorth every second. the food was good, hot and timely though the service could have been a bit more attentive. i like this place and will go back with friends
You want comfort. You got comfort! – Try the crab cakes, Jumpin Jack/John (something like that), and never leave the cornbrand standing on your plate, eat it, live it, and enjoy it.
Clean Plate – I love having breakfast at the Wishbone. The food has been delicious everytime. The are extremely consistent and I never leave unhappy. I always leave with a full stomach and a clean plate!
Love this place!! – I was thrilled to see Wishbone getting well deserved kudos. I've been lucky to eat in many of Chicago's finer restaurants. Wishbone is my favorite, casual or not. The food (mostly nreakfast) is fantastic and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed. Above all, it's a place where you see a cross representation of the people who grace our beautiful city dining together on a regular basis. Colorful, fun, and ALWAYS worth the wait!!!
Yum! – Good, plentiful food. I love the black bean burger with a side of sauteed spinach.
