Flew into Winslow and ended up getting stuck for a couple hours. Wiseman was very hospitable. Natalie was very friendly. The restaurant had good Mexican. Cheap fuel prices. Had a great experience.
Winslow Arizona airport is a frequent fuel stop on my travels across Arizona. The fuel prices are usually reasonable. They have longer runways for the high density altitude. The historic La Posada Hotel is a short ride away. The Mexican restaurant on the field is open again. If you’re in the area fly over meteor crater it’s one of the unique geologic features on the Earth.
