We have a Gourmet Stove and we absolutely love it. We had it installed 13 years ago. In winter we don't use anything else to cook on, it makes the best roasts and pizzas. And it's lovely to have a stew bubbling away on top. It's so cosy to be able to see the fire as well, the wood box will take big chunky logs and the oven is easy to keep to temperature. We replaced our gas fired hydronic heating system with a high temperature heat pump.Installation was carried out by our local plumber and electrician. Nick from Wiseliving gave them instructions on how to install the system, and visited the site to see how things were going. Installation was drama and trouble free. We haven’t missed our gas boiler. On the same program as the gas boiler, the temperatures in our house are the same as we have always had, even on the morning where there was a heavy frost! Highly recommended. Joh... read more

Got a Clarendon on the 20th may, paint scratches off with a fingernail on the hot plate protectors. Have fixed the damper twice , six screws have now fell out, one still missing.The fire rope under hot plate was in four pieces and wasn’t glued in . The screw in hot plate remover won’t thread in the plate, I’m guessing that the tap didn’t do the job properly. We are still trying to love It, wanted it to last at least the warranty. We are already devotee's of wood stoves. Last season the old stove blew it's water jacket (wetback, water heater), to replace/repair it needed to come out and it's 60yrs old, an upgrade seemed a good option. Barbeques Galore Wagga introduced us to the Wiseliving range and we choose a Supreme Mk3, Stirling opt with chrome stove top and hotplate covers and Claret Red Powder coat doors.
