Book elsewhere, left me stranded on the side of a road with my family. My flight changed, I informed wise cars and the car rental company. They cancelled my reservation without my knowledge so I showed up to no car at night. They blame each other but wise car would not refund all my money. Criminal. Avoid the hassle and book elsewhere. (you kept 28 euro for nothing, confirmed it was Wisecars, not the rental company)
From a person with 50+ car rentals globally with minimal issues, under no circumstance you should use this brand. Stranded in Dallas during a winter freeze as supplier demanded €750 insurance payment on a 10 days rental (never once done to me in my life). Was told from a representative “sorry, unless you pay the insurance you will not be getting a car from us, or any other rental company in this airport” (speaking on behalf of other companies). We recently booked a rental car in Costa Rica and when we arrived our price almost doubled when we were told that we had to purchase a $350 liability insurance policy on the spot. Wisecars did everything they could to hide this important detail from us. This included send a link in an email only after our confirmation 48 hours before pick up of the car (never at the time when we first reserved or saw quoted prices) that lead to a website with another link for the terms and conditions, which you had to scroll several pages do... read more
Nous avions loué un véhicule 8 places à l'arrivée à l'aéroport l’intermédiaire AVIS nous a dit qu'il ne possédait pas ce type de véhicule. Nous avons donc dû en louer une autre sans contrepartie financière suffisante. Service après vente inexistant
I had a prepaid reservation which was supposed to be paid in full. I arrived at the Avis counter and they charged more than $160 extra. Wisecars refused to straighten out the situation. DO NOT USE. BAD NEWS. THEY ARE A SCAM.
