I changed Vets last year and am pleased to inform everyone that changing to Wise & Wonderful Integrative Veterinary Center was the best choice for my cat Sage, who's a genuine scardy-cat. I've met both veterinarians now and most of the rest of their staff and find that their kind attention to my little feline daughter (because that is how I feel about her) has been very helpful and has helped relieve her anxiety about going to the vet. I am so grateful we found this clinic! Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and compassionate. I'd highly recommend checking out this practice to anyone, but especially if you have a an animal that is more nervous in typical vet office environments. Our dog has had a lot of fear going to the vets ever since he got neutered and can react aggressively, we've done a lot of training with him and he wears a muzzle, but he is still sensitive and learning that its okay to be touched by humans. Our visit to Wise & Wonderful Integrative Vet Center in Santa Rosa was absolutely amazing! The vet tech was so sweet and spent lots of time on the floor with my pup giving him treats, giving pets and building trust. The doctor was knowledgeable in traditional and integrative modalities and made suggestions that I felt good about for supplements and diet. They reduce risk of cross contamination or infection by allowing you to wait in your car until your exam room is ready then you and your pet go right in without encountering other sick animals. Everyone is very compassionate, affectionate and competent with our pets. They give you clear options on treatment paths.
Extremely personal with our pets, spends lots of time with them, and even gets on the floor with them. We go there to them from someone while lives in Sausalito and brings their pets to W&W an hour+ away.
