Don’t recommend, they are not worth the money. They diagnosed me with Down syndrome and stage 7 autism. The psychologists basically believe you can apply the whole DSM-V on a person to then get funding from the NDIS to use their services. They also recommend and refer patients to other private psychologists whom they are affiliate with. This is to ensure adequate finances for their practice, which are paid for by the NDIS. They are not thorough and therefore have potential for damaging a persons psyche.
We unfortunately did not have a positive experience with this service and would not recommend proceeding without asking very detailed questions first. From the beginning, our child’s date of birth was provided on all intake paperwork. As a family already under financial strain, we entered this assessment process relying on the guidance of the company to ensure the service was appropriate and necessary so we could properly advocate for our child. We had a great experience! Scott was wonderful with our son, providing a thoughtful and well-written report. The admin staff, especially Makinlay, were friendly and helpful.
