I visited him a few times. I had back pain and he prescribed a muscle relaxant. I disagreed with him about chiropractors and I could tell he took it personally. Turns out, the pain was referred. I ended up in the ER after he failed to call me back for an entire day. The ER doc called the office and recommended an sonogram of gallbladder. Nothing found. This Doctor truly cares for his patients and the community he serves. He will give you as much time as needed. provide clear explanations and options, and has the best sense of humor. Being a general MD a doctor is expected to know everything. This man is knowledgable but does not pretend to be such a god. When he doesn't know, he quickly refers patients to a specialist. I would say most of his patients love Dr. Wirth. And by the way, he even checks to medical portal when he's on vacation with his family!
If you dis-agree with him, he takes offense. Otherwise everything is a joke to him. Disrespectful to older patients.
The communication of this doctor in my own experience is awful. It is difficult to get an answer for an email or a call back. Never had this problem from a doctor. I don't know if it is personal that I disagreed with him about something or his attitude towards communicating with patients is not up to par or that he has too many patients. Either way, not satisfactory.
I have been going to Dr. Wirth for several years now. Dr. With is down to earth, honest and to the point. He takes the time to explain anything that needs explaining.He takes time to answer all questions. He does not rush through his patients . There have been times through the years that doctor and patient have not always agreed however my opinion is this doctor truly cares about human life. We can only hope that more doctors in the future will be as caring as Dr. Wirth.
I will never go tho the office of Philip Wirth or Andrew Reese ever again. As far as I'm concerned, Sue Greene is the only person in that office that truly cares for her patients and does the right. I recently requested to have my blood type tested to find out if I am a viable donor for my sister whose kidneys are failing rapidly. Dr. Wirth's office response was they don't do that. I had to go to my psych dr. who is on the same network. This is not the first time either. Wirthless!!!
One of the best doctors i have ever meet as a care provider. DR Wirth takes the time to discuss all patient options.VERY in tune with the patients need and concerns. You can be open with dr.philipp and comfortable.easy to communicate with. Spends good quality time with his patients.
