We were denied service because my cat who is 8 months old was found in the back of a truck at around 3 days old and they were concerned that he may have been injured at that time. So they wanted us to take him to a vet for an exam before getting him spayed. HOWEVER, they have no issues accepting unknown feral cats by the dozens.
Got up at 4:45 am and loaded up 4 cats to get them there on time because we live an hour and a half away and when we got there they told us they couldn’t find the appointment that we made almost a month ago and they couldn’t get us in so we had to drive half way there and all the way back with a car full of cats that shit in their carriers due to the incompetence of someone not taking down information correctly. Absolutely ridiculous
If I could give them zero stars, I would. The vet refused to do my male's surgery because I made the mistake of putting down that he was rescued at 5 days old after possibly being dropped by an eagle on his paperwork, and even though he'd been examined when that happened almost a year prior, they didn't want to do the surgery. Apparently they'll take dozens upon dozens of feral cats with no medical history at all, but one that's been cleared months prior could POSSIBLY have a hernia and needs to be x-rayed a year later after... read more
