Have to brag on Wiregrass Medical Center. I walked in to Pre Op yesterday and was in and out. I was scheduled for Routine Colonoscopy this morning at 6 and had the best Nurses/Staff. Dr Dale gave me a clean bill of health and they had me walking out the door in less than 2 hours! The radiology department has taken very good care of us as well from Mammograms, ultrasounds and X-rays. The ER has always taken care of our family as well! I have been to Wiregrass Hospital many times. I stayed there for a week over 20 years ago. It was a pleasure to have a place so close that gives life saving care. Since then, I have had to go for tests and procedures in several different departments. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The Doctors and RNs have always been extremely skilled and devoted toward my recovery in each situation and made sure I was comfortable and cared for. They have saved two of my loved one's lives. My dad had hip surgery and came to wiregrass for rehabilitation on the swing bed. We are well satisfied with care that he has and is receiving would recommend the swing bed to anyone needing rehabilitation care.
Ok long post but, I have to brag on and am soooo very thankful for our small town hospital!!! Wiregrass MC I went in last Monday for a mammogram because I was around 2 yrs behind and I also found a lump myself a few weeks ago and just thought maybe it was normal but no I needed to know. I just walked in and told them what I wanted to do and was in and out in 20 mins!! Well there was something there and they had me back in on Wednesday for more test! Shout out to Wiregrass Medical Center for excellent care. My mother spent a week in enterprise hospital then transferred to a swing bed unit in Geneva for rehab. We had a great experience. I highly recommend.
