Beware‼️‼️‼️ 5 years ago we moved to a area that use Wiregrass Electric company and we never had any issues until today . Our lights got cut off due to non payment (totally forgot) I called rite after the disconnection to pay it and these folks wanted to charge us another $310 deposit plus (we paid $400 5 years ago)reconnection fee, and the past due bill. I've been living at my residence since 2016. Unfortunately sometimes people have bad luck and in that period of time I think I've had maybe four checks return and wire grass has banned beef and right checks for life. Never heard her such a thing to me. I think that's border line of discrimination

Great place for anyone to visit.
They allow you to prepay on your account and get daily usage texts, but on this plan if the amount in your account reaches zero there is no grace period at all. No notification. No switching to a monthly bill plan and sending you a bill. They immediately shut off the power and only send a text saying that you are approaching cutoff or being cutoff HOURS after the fact.
